S.O.A.R
(Social, Organizational, Academic, Relationships) is the after school program offered that Becker Middle School offers to help support students in academics as well as socially. During the school year this program is intended to provide assistance with daily school work as well as offer supplemental lessons to help improve reading and math skills to students at Becker Middle School.
How Does a Student Qualify or Get Selected for SOAR?
Teachers typically refer students to the after school SOAR Program for additional assistance. Students who have participated in either the summer program and/or the after school program in the past will be invited back. Parents/guardians are also welcome to refer their child to the program. When referring a student to the SOAR Program, the staff will ask the parent/guardian or teachers to fill out the SOAR Referral Form.
