Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement courses are opportunities to for students to earn college credit in high school.  In order to earn college credit, students must take the course and then take the Advanced Placement (AP) test in May (of the year the course is taken).  Students who score well on the test (typically a 3, 4 or 5) are awarded college credit by many 4-year colleges throughout the United States.

Students will need to submit their official AP scores from CollegeBoard to the college they will be attending in order for the college to award credit.  For more information and to send scores, click here.
