Advanced Placement



Advanced Placement courses are opportunities to for students to earn college credit in high school.  In order to earn college credit, students must take the course and then take the Advanced Placement (AP) test in May (of the year the course is taken).  Students who score well on the test (typically a 3, 4 or 5) are granted college credit by many 4-year colleges throughout the United States.

Becker High School offers the following AP courses:
AP Biology
AP Calculus I and II (these 2 taken in the same year prepare students for the AP Calculus AB test)
AP Calculus III (prepares students for the AP Calculus BC test)
AP Statistics (prepares students for the AP Statistics test)
