On Tuesday, May 19th, 56 sixth graders took a trip (complete with a tour and pizza/root beer float party) at Liberty Paper. These kids went above and beyond the Environmental Book Challenge in March/April and wrote an essay about what they learned from reading at least two environmental books. All 56 essays were judged by Liberty Paper employees and prizes were awarded to the top three. Third place ($50 Visa card) went to Ethan T., second place ($75 Visa card) to Keegan M., and the first place essay was written by Julia B. and earned her a $100 Visa card. Thanks, as always, to Liberty Paper for doing so very much for our environment and our sixth grade classes every year!
