This month in our Wednesday meetings and advisory time, we are focusing on thankfulness and showing gratitude. One project that came out of these discussions is our "Tree of Gratitude" displayed in the commons area. Each leaf on the tree represents things our students feel grateful about, and there are MANY leaves up there! Some of the leaves are what one expects to see when thinking about gratitude......family, friends, a home, pets, books, neighbors, education, music, Jesus/God. Of course, our kids came up with some other fun ideas too......here we are also grateful for Wi-Fi, Becker Football, John Deere, Dodge, Netflix, and Steve Jobs. Middle schoolers always keep it fun around here!
