Kindergarten students from Mrs. Babler and Mrs. Knutson's classes joined 4th graders from Mr. Baune's class to explore pre-engineering problem solving known as makerspaces.  The idea of creating makerspace opportunities focuses on "creative time and, well, space for people of all ages to build prototypes, explore questions, fail and retry, bounce ideas off one another and build something together."  This also gives teachers and students the chance to build a collaborative culture based on a shared community.

Mrs. Knutson shares more about the student project.
