BHS Hosts Robotics Kickoff

The Robotics team, CIS 4607, hosted this year's kick-off event at Becker High School on Saturday, January 6. Over 400 students, mentors, and community members attended the event, which consisted of the 2018 game reveal, a large group networking lunch, and individual break-out sessions geared towards collaborative strategy.

*PSEO and ONLINE students!  Check your email and Skyward frequently for prom and        graduation information. 

*Football highlight films are available to purchase in the activities office.  They are $10 cash or check.

*The yearbook is looking for summer photos of you and your friends, as well as photos for the "Remember When" page.  Please email to or bring them to Joalah. 

*This week NHS is raising money for Food for Kidz, an organization that provides meals for kids in need. We will be collecting monetary donations at Thursday and Friday's basketballs game. We will also be collecting food for our local food shelf at both games. Finally, Friday students can wear hats to school for $1. There will also be half court shots for $1 at Friday's game.  Thanks for the support.  If the school raises $500 Mr. Salzer has agreed to shave his beard!!

Seniors who would like to purchase the 2018 Group Senior Panoramic photo, stop in the office for an order form.

Tackle Cancer a Huge Success

The National Honor Society would like to thank BHS students, staff and the community for their tremendous support of our Tackle Cancer night! We were able to raise about $3000 from t-shirt sales and donations! We are still waiting on totals from the concession stand sales. We could not have raised this money without the community support- so THANK YOU! And, thank you to senior Payton Bernstrom who headed the Tackle Cancer committee! The money will be donated to the Randy Shaver Tackle Cancer campaign.

Parking Permits, Activities, and iPad Protection Plan

Students wishing to purchase parking permits for the 2017-18 school year can do so online at  Registration for HS Activities and iPad Protection Plans can be completed at the same time.

BHS Artists Honored

Several BHS students attended the Granite Ridge Art Festival in Foley this week. 17 of the 19 works of art received either an Excellence or Superior award with 4 receiving All-Conference honors.

Becker High School Presents "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind"

Show Dates and Times for this year's Spring Play are as follows:
Friday, May 5th at 7:00p.m.
Saturday, May 6th at 2:00p.m. and 7:00p.m.
Sunday, May 7th at 2:00p.m.

Ticket Prices:
Adults: $8.00  Students, Seniors, and Military ID Holders: $6.00

This play is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
