Parents often ask questions about the growing use of technology in their children's lives; use both in school and on their own.  To help community members better understand this change, Becker Public Schools would like to invite you to a Community Read around the book, Screenwise: Helping Kids Thrive (and Survive) in Their Digital World by Devorah Heitner, PhD.

A Community Read is a chance to personally engage with a topic, and eventually meet with others to seek understanding of the topic together. Dr. Heitner's book is an outstanding resource for anyone who wants to better understand the changing nature of technology and today's youth. Her book is geared toward parents of students at any age.

More information about the Community Read is available online at Community Read - Screenwise. The deadline to register is Friday, March 31st. We hope you will join the conversation.
