BREATHING BULLDOGS & BALANCED BULLDOGS YOGA CLUB

Breathing Bulldogs Yoga Club  GR K-5 classes run Jan 6-Feb 3 &  Mar 10-Mar 31 $32 per session
Practice includes breathing instruction, relaxation techniques, stretching and strengthening poses, all using fun-filled music, games and imagination! The secret is our playfulness, keeping your child motivated, excited and moving!  
Balanced Bulldogs Yoga Club
Together we will learn basic yoga, breathing and meditation techniques in a fun, engaging and inclusive atmosphere. We will focus on : becoming aware of our breath; increase our strength, flexibility, coordination and balance; learn to cope with and reduce stress and anxiety; balancing the body and mind; and improving quality or sleep. GR 6-12 classes run Feb 10-Feb 3 & Mar 23-Apr 20 $32 per session

BECKER BLAST YOUTH CLINIC

The Becker Blast Softball Association in coordination with the St. Cloud State University softball team is hosting a softball clinic for all girls in grades 1-6. This clinic will be run by the SCSU coaching staff with assistance from the SCSU softball team. Players will receive instruction in throwing, catching, hitting, and base running.  This clinic is for any girls looking to learn more about softball, whether they have softball experience or not.  Players new to the sport are encouraged!!

Special Instructions: (i.e. supplies participants need to bring to class)  Players should bring a glove and wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothes.  If players have a bat or batting helmet, or catcher's gear they should bring them as well.  If not, they will be provided.

BECKER BASEBALL CAMP

Looking to get an edge on the competition? Attend our one-day, all
encompassing baseball camp to ready all baseball players for the upcoming
season. The Becker Varsity baseball staff and players will lead the athletes through
a variety of baseball fundamentals including throwing, pitching, fielding, hitting and
base running throughout the 4-hour camp. Athletes will also learn proper techniques
to help them prevent injuries, hone their skills, and love the game of baseball. We will end
the camp with a fun competition and the chance for the athletes to demonstrate the skills and techniques they have learned. Players will need to bring their baseball glove and tennis shoes (no cleats). Athletes may bring their own bats, batting gloves and helmets if desired.  
MONDAY, FEB 17 in the Field house

Matilda the Musical is a stage musical based on the 1988 children's novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. It was adapted by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.  The musical's narrative centers on Matilda, a precocious 5-year-old girl with the gift of telekinesis, who loves reading, overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school, and helps her teacher to reclaim her life.

Planning a Disney vacation can be overwhelming!  We can help!  Join us to discuss timing for your trip, how to decide where to stay and where to eat and how/when to make the dining reservations.  We’ll also cover transportation options, parks, rides, costs, safety and traveling with children/adults with disabilities or medical issues.  You will get suggestions for training before you of, games to get kids excited and ready for the physical demands of walking in the parks all day, and suggestions for keeping kids hydrated and entertained while at the parks.  Get ready and prepare for the vacation of a lifetime!

OPEN ARTIST STUDIO!

Join Becker Alumna and artist, Kate Langlais for some creative fun during your day off from school! You'll find painting, drawing, and various crafting supplies in the classroom and plenty of time to work on your own masterpieces. If you need more inspiration, there will be plenty of artist-led projects throughout the day that you can choose to participate in. The projects are designed with elementary aged kids in mind. Stay for the whole time or part of the time, but wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on!  The projects are designed for K-5 students but older kids may also attend this these open studio times keeping in mind  that the environment/language needs to stay elementary school friendly.  
Bring your own nut-free lunch and plenty of snacks. Class fee includes all supplies.

PRAIRIE FIRE CHILDREN'S THEATRE CINDERELLA!

This is a rock and roll version of the classic story of Cinderella. It is set in the 1950's with some
great music to bring the show to life! Up to 78 students in grades 2-6 are needed to fill the cast!
Auditions will be held after school on Monday, October 21 in the High School Small Auditorium.
Auditions are open to anyone in grades 2-6. The audition process lasts up to two hours and all those auditioning are required to be in attendance for its entirety. The cast will be announced at the end of the two hour audition; each cast member will receive a rehearsal schedule for the remainder of the week. 
Rehearsals will be held from 3:00-7:00PM throughout the remainder of the week, with performances scheduled for Fri., Oct. 25 at 6:30PM and Sat., Oct. 26 at 10:00AM.  $20

DRIVERS EDUCATION COURSE

Driving an automobile safely is one of the most important skills you will learn in your lifetime. Solid 
instruction by a highly qualified, experienced instructor is the key to laying a good foundation.
This course consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction. To register, participants must be 15 years
