Driving an automobile safely is one of the most important skills you will learn in your lifetime.  This course consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction  Students younger than 15 yeas old may register for this class, but the student must be 15 years old in order to take the permit test.  Max.30/Min. 17

Mon.–Fri.,  Mar. 12-16, 19-23 (yes, class on no school day-*Mar. 23)

*March 23 will be 8:00-11:00AM

Join the Varsity coaches and players for this one day clinic.  Learn the sport and build your skills and technique while having fun!  This clinic is good for those that have played some lacrosse and wan to work on skills development.  Price includes a T-shirt. Bring your own stick if you have one or one will be provided for use at camp.

Looking to get an edge on the competition?  Attend our one-day, all encompassing baseball camp to ready all baseball players for the upcoming season.  Conveniently scheduled before the spring school season and youth baseball evaluations.  The Becker Varsity baseball staff and players will lead the athletes through a variety of baseball fundamentals including throwing, pitching, fielding, hitting and base running.

Join Science Explorers as we step into the fields of engineering, technology and coding with engaging, hands-on activities. We will discover how engineers use their scientific and technical skills to design machines, buildings, computer programs and more. By using Legos® and other materials, we will design a building to with stand an earthquake, construct a waterwheel and more. Then we will learn about coding as we program our "mice" to maneuver through mazes in search of their prize.

Boys Lacrosse Clinic
Come try Lacrosse on January 22!  For New and Existing Youth Players 1st-8th Grade.
All interested players can come try Lacrosse for the first time.   Sticks and some helmets will be available for new players.  Returning players bring your helmet, gloves and stick and come sharpen up your skills for the spring season.

Join the Becker Dazzlers Dance Team for our Annual Hip Hop Dance Camp! Participants will learn a fun Hip Hop dance routine and perform their routine at halftime of a Becker Boys Basketball game on Thursday, February 8th!

Cost for Camp $48 (includes t-shirt for performance)

Ages: boys and girls ages 3 - 12 (young children must be toilet trained)  

Dates/Times: Mon - Wed.  Feb 5 - 7th  2:45 - 4:30pm & Performance Thursday Feb. 8th at halftime of the Boys Basketball Game.  

Location: IS Gym (primary school participants will be picked up at the primary school by coaches or team members and escorted to the Intermediate school)

IMPORTANT: please include grade in school and t-shirt size when registering.

Participants should wear athletic shoes and bring a snack and water bottle to each practice.

Registration Deadline is Wednesday, January 31st at Noon.

This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics - Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST).  Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business.  Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit.

Join Science Explorers as we accelerate through aerodynamics and rockets with fun and engaging activities.
First, we will investigate the history of flight, air pressure and the forces that allow objects to fly. Then, we will discovery that straws are not just for drinking or blowing bubbles...they can also make great rockets as we design and modify straw rockets to learn about aerodynamics, projectile motion, trajectory and more.

Legacy Basketball League
Grades 1 & 2
Youth Basketball league that focuses on the fundamentals of basketball.
Each week there will be COACHED drills focusing on fundamentals featuring: ball handling, passing, shooting, defense, and a basic understanding of game rules.  Fun basketball games that focus on the use of these fundamentals are also mixed in.  2nd Graders will also be playing 3 on 3 games each week with a 3 on 3 tournament on the last week.
